Normally, I wouldn’t write one of these out two days in a row, because that implies I have more free time than I actually do. But I had a wee hiccup in my day that caused me to need to self-soothe a little bit. Since my stand on day drinking remains the same (hard no), I turned to my favorite soothing exercise. Writing. If you have the time to read this, first of all, I congratulate you on your organizational skills. That’s incredible. The song will make more sense if you refresh your memory on the tune. Here is a link to the original lyrics and song: Lay All Your Love On Me
Now….
Turn In Your Work On TimeI wasn’t tired before we met.
Now every night is sleep I didn’t get
I grade the work that you turned in late
My love of grammar has turned to hate
(okay)
We know that isn’t true
We’ve just got too much to do
Just do your tasks, on time I ask
I BEG of you!
Don’t go wasting my whole weekend.
Turn in your woooorrrrk ooooon tiiiiiime.
Here’s the reason that you’re falling,
Three weeks late should be a crime!
Sometimes it’s just like pulling teeth
I don’t know why this gives me grief
I still don’t know how you got this way
Even your parents don’t have much sway.
I feel a kind of fear
When IPRs are near
I’ve tried and tried, until I cried
What do you need to hear?!
Don’t go wasting my whole weekend.
Turn in your woooorrrrk ooooon tiiiiiime.
Here’s the reason that you’re falling,
Three weeks late should be a crime!
